Baby Predictions….

August 8, 2013

Fact: Most people will ask FIRST, “when are you due?” then right after that is…..”Do you know what you are having?” It’s like clock work!

So we decided not to find out whether we are having a boy or a girl (thought it would be fun to make it a surprise, like the olden days) , but that doesn’t stop anyone from telling me what it is. It’s not even really that they are guessing, they are straight TELLING me what i’m going to have, which is pretty funny. If you don’t know what you are having either, you probably know exactly what i’m talking about, if not…well I guess i’m just fortunate enough to surround myself around magical people. If you do know what you are having TRY THIS* pretend for day that you don’t and see how many people will predict what you’re having! It’s like everyone has become psychic all of a sudden! 🙂 The really good ones have a scientific method to their madness…they scope you up and down like they are analyzing the symmetry before they blurt out there predictions. Others do a more detective approach and ask you questions like, “did you have morning sickness?” either way I find it very amusing! I also love the guessers too!  It’s like a little game, and they have there own reasons for there guess too which can be very comical , and 50/50 odds is pretty good!

Has this ever happened to you?? Hopefully i’m not alone here!

Average Day being pregnant….third trimester

August 6, 2013

Since I did an “Average Night” comic I just had to do an “Average Day” comic! I think i’ve talked about my feet swelling, which I thought was pretty cool at first because I’ve never seen them that big, but when they start to hurt the coolness factor goes out the window and I immediately sit down and elevate my feet and the swelling goes down in about an hour or so…and yes I still use my cool booties that I wrote about a couple of posts ago, they are awesome 🙂

One thing I did want to point out is that I truly believe my body has developed new sweat glands while pregnant, i’m not exactly sure where all this sweat is coming from, but I never used to be a sweat-er and now….well…it can be a little embarrassing. Especially if i’m on my way to see a client, I have to make sure I don’t wear a solid color shirt because it looks like I got blasted by a super soaker in various different locations, all the more reason to love my strips even more!

And the bathroom experience, I’ve never really been a fan of public bathrooms, but surprisingly enough they are not used as often as you would think in places like, Target or the grocery store. So it’s not all THAT bad!

Hope you enjoyed the post/comic, if you haven’t subscribed to the blog yet, please do so, you will be the FIRST to see new comics!

31 Weeks Pregnant Photo and Update

August 5, 2013

How far along? 31 Weeks

Your baby is the size of a pineapple its’s about 15.2 to 16.7 inches long and weighs about 2.5 to 3.8 pounds this month. It’s getting so big, he’s probably crowding your lungs.

How big is your baby: pineapple

Total weight gain/loss:Gained 25 pounds (156)

I decided to just do a summary since a lot of the answers are still the same… 🙁
We just cleaned out the baby room of all the items that weren’t “baby” and my hubby started ‘daddy boot camp” last week. He was pretty excited when he came home because some of the guys in the class were even more clueless then him…which I thought was cute! We start “our” baby class together in a couple of weeks, I’m pretty excited because I’ve only held a couple of babies in my lifetime so all the education I can get i’m ready for! Oh ya…and my belly button is almost a full “outtie” which is  a little weird but I had a pretty deep “innie” so it’s a little cute “outite”
New cravings: tomatoes….just tomatoes sliced up with some salt and pepper…yum! And Cran-Lemonade which is delicious! i’m surprise they didn’t think of that combo sooner!
No new stretch marks! Thank goodness…and I definitely have to go pee wwwwayyyyy more then usual, so i’ve grown accustomed now to public bathrooms especially at the grocery store 🙂

Average Night being pregnant…third trimester

August 4, 2013

So I was venting to my husband the other day about how tired I and he turned to me with his blood shot eyes and said, “you are tired?” I was a little confused since I’m the one carrying a basketball and 25 extra pounds….he then began to explain how he understands how I’m tired because my lack of sleep is causing his lack of sleep. Let me explain, outside of me snoring every night, I occasionally kick him as I rotate to a new position and of course if I get a leg cramp, i’m constantly stealing his pillows, and I have to pee AT LEAST three times a night, which by the way is absolutely confusing to me because I don’t ever remember drinking that much water to pee out that much??? So I thought my honey would enjoy this comic…I know I do every time I see it! 🙂

Does your significant other ever forget you are pregnant?

July 31, 2013

Has your significant other ever forgot that you were pregnant, just for a minute? I’m not saying he forgets for days at a time, I’m saying he forgets for that minute he asks me to “shock the pool” or lift a piece of heavy furniture…. This has been going pretty much since I told my husband I was pregnant, and really…I don’t blame him. There are most mornings that I wake up and forget i’m pregnant. I still get a chuckle every time it happens, and I just point to my basketball size belly and smile.  And the bigger I get the funnier it is to me….for instance the latest is pulling the car in the garage. Now that i’m a lot bigger I have to maneuver myself so crazy out the car that the door has to open ALL the way…so…my husband can’t just pull into the garage or a parking spot as usual he either has to squeeze out of his side or let me out before he pulls in…I’m sure you have some stories of when this has happened to you? I would love to hear them! Thanks again for reading and don’t forget to subscribe so you can get the latest post by email!
