Spot Gumball Machine Craft

November 27, 2019

Spot Gumball Machine

When kids can make art look like an actual page of a book it makes reading really fun! My kids had so much fun making these gumball machines! We used the image down below, some bingo dabbers and some Scribble stickers! And of course, we read the book “Spots” My Daughter makes the funniest faces!

Q-Tip Spot Rainbow Painting

November 27, 2019

Q-Tip Spot Rainbow Painting

I just love books that have an art Activity that goes with it, and this one is super simple and fun! It was inspired by the book “Spots”  All you need to do is download the below rainbow printable and either have your kids use dabbers or Q-Tips with paint! For the Q-Tips we used plastic ice trays that we got off amazon and liquid watercolors and it turned out great!

If you’re feeling extra crafty you can actually create some of the SPOT characters using “Scribble Stickers”

Toddlers talking like adults?

June 17, 2017

Lately the vocabulary of  both my two year old and three and half year old has been surprising me. They use MY phrases so accurately in the right context!

My three year old told me yesterday, he “just couldn’t handle it being Monday”  I

Baby Death Grip

April 13, 2014

I’m always amazed how much much muscle my little guy actually has and how much he will refuse to let go! Especially when he has a chunk full of hair…but honestly that doesn’t hurt nearly as much as him grabbing just a couple hairs around the sensitive part of your neck and yanking on it as hard as he can. And every time he thinks it’s hilarous when i’m at his mercy as i’m trying to pry the little pieces of hair from his fingers….he always ends up with a couple pieces for souvienors death grip

How to subscribe to a blog that has feedburner?

June 10, 2013

So it’s come to my attention that some people don’t know how to subscribe to a blog or they don’t know why they should. I chose feedburner because it’s one of the safest email subscriptions out there and you won’t receive spam (which I hate). And the reason why you should subscribe via email is because even though we are connected through facebook you may miss some really cool posts of new comics or progress.  This way you get an update email when I’ve posted something new, which is about once a week, which is pretty cool!

So I decided to break it down step by step so you know what to do, i’m going to assume you are already on my blog because you are reading this post 🙂

Okay, here we go!

Enter your email address, then click submit! BUT YOU ARE NOT DONE….this is where people get confused you NEED to verify your address via email and I will walk you through that.

You’ll receive this…type in the little code

Once you do it correctly you will receive this, YOU ARE STILL NOT DONE….

Then you will receive an email verifying the email is correct…it should look like this

Once you click on the email it will ask you to click on the link

And then you are DONE! see that was easy! And thank you sooooooo much for subscribing!
