As  you know all my books have easy art activities that go with them. And Splatter is one of my favorite books and activity set! I do this because it makes reading SOOO much fun! And because I love ART! So I’ve tried a couple different ways to do blow (eye dropper or watercolor puddle) and I would say the water color puddle works the best. SO I made a video!! My kids got a little TOO carried away with the dropper and they had more control making “watercolor puddles” and then blowing with a straw. Also a bent straw did help in giving them more direction!

This was so much fun! I love reading books to my kids and having an after reading art activity! With the book “Splatter” you can do just that! This book not only has a great message about teamwork and perseverance but it has a great lesson on color theory too! You can’t help but want to create our own splatters after reading it!
